Fruit & Butter Stollen

Among Europeans, this delicious bread is a traditional symbol of love and friendship during the Holiday season.

Our Stollen is made from hand-kneaded yeast dough, generously filled with plump raisins and dried fruit that's been soaked in light Caribbean rum (rum keeps the bread moist and fresh up to three months without refrigeration.) After hand-forming loaves, master bakers brush each with sweet butter... bake... and top with tasty cinnamon sugar. Regular provides 9-10 servings; Family 18-20.
