Among Europeans, this delicious bread is a traditional symbol of love and friendship during the Holiday season. Ours is made from hand-kneaded yeast dough, generously filled with plump raisins and dried fruit that's been soaked in light Caribbean rum. (Rum keeps the bread moist and fresh up to three months without refrigeration.) After hand-forming loaves, master bakers brush each with fresh, sweet butter... slowly bake... and top with tasty cinnamon sugar. Great with coffee or tea at your family or group gatherings, and festively wrapped for impressive gift-giving. Regular Stollen Loaf provides 9-10 servings; Family 18-20.
