Smoked Slab Bacon
Want to slice your own bacon extra-thick, extra-thin or in-between? With Nueske's Slab Bacon, you can slice your bacon to meet your (and your family's) exact preference.
This is the same premium-quality bacon as our popular sliced varieties... made from the leanest pork available, and slowly smoked over Wisconsin Applewood embers for a full 24 hours. Another sign of superior quality: It shrinks a fraction as much as typical supermarket bacon. Conveniently portioned in two or four 1 1/2 lb. slabs.
When Sending to Multiple Recipients:
Add items to Shopcart one at a time, specifying
recipient for each item. After each recipient,
click “Continue Shopping” and add
next item & recipient. When last item
& recipient are specified, click on “Checkout.”
To Store: Refrigerate immediately. Vacuum-packaged bacon will keep for 3 weeks in refrigerator, or up to 3 months in freezer. Once opened, use within 1 week.
To Fry: For best results, place bacon in unheated skillet. Cook over MEDIUM LOW heat. Turn frequently until desired crispness is attained. (You'll notice less shrinkage than with other brands.)
Microwave: On microwave-safe plate, place bacon slices side by side between layers of paper toweling. Cook on HIGH for the following approximate times:
2 slices - 1 minute
4 slices - 2 minutes
6 slices - 3 minutes
Thin bacon slices require slightly less time.
