If you (or a loved one) appreciate the extraordinary flavor of poultry slow-smoked over glowing embers of genuine Applewood, here’s a scrumptious sampler for you. 

Includes: Smoked Whole Chicken (3 lb. average), every bite moist and tender... Smoked Whole Pheasant (2½ lb. average), succulent and flavorful, ready to serve... Smoked Whole Duck (3 lb. average), juicy and mild-flavored. All are fully cooked and ready to serve at room temperature or gently warmed. The very best in smoked poultry in one handsome gift box.
 

Store & Prepare

To Store: Refrigerate immediately. Unopened package will keep for 11 weeks in your refrigerator or up to 1 year in freezer with no loss of flavor: Once opened, enjoy within 1 week.

To Serve:
Smoked poultry is cured, smoked, fully cooked and ready to serve, hot or cold.  Remove any netting before heating or slicing.  Meat will appear pink (due to smoking). 

Oven Warming:
  If you prefer to gently warm pre-heat oven to 325 °F. Place poultry in roasting pan, add 1/4 cup water, cover tightly with foil and place on oven rack.  warm approximately 15 minutes per pound, or to internal temp of  120°F.  Do not overheat.

Yech

 

We like smoked meats - but most of these went to the dog. The meat arrives frozen solid. Once thawed, it is wet and mushy all the way through. Attempts to blot the excess moisture away were futile. We haven't unthawed the duck yet - we are NOT looking forward to it. Smoked meat should be moist - not sopping wet. We also ordered some cheese - which is great. But we won't order meats again from this company.

Received one of your smoked pheasants as a gift last year and ate it down to the bones (and used them for soup). Looking forward to tucking into the sampler this holiday. (for the reviewer who wasn't happy about the salt, smoked meats tend to be salty due to the curing and the loss of moisture--try not to eat the whole bird at one sitting ;)
