Description

There's something magical about the combined flavors of moist, Applewood-smoked ham and fresh black pepper. And your guests will experience it fully when they savor this classic taste delight.

We coat each ham by hand with fresh-cracked Tellicherry peppercorns (imported from India and considered the world's finest)... then patiently smoke for 24 hours over smoldering Applewood embers. Finally, we fully cook and spiral-slice down to the bone for your serving convenience. Nothing for you to do but warm gently and serve. Bone-in half ham.  Not a water-added product.

Store & Prepare

To Store: Refrigerate immediately if you plan to use within 11 weeks. To serve later place in freezer upon receipt, Will keep up to 1 year in freezer with no loss of flavor; thaw in refrigerator for 2 days prior to serving.

To Serve: Ham is fully cooked and ready to serve, hot or cold.

Oven warming: If you prefer to gently warm, preheat oven to 275°F. Cover ham tightly with foil and heat 20 minutes per pound, or to internal temperature 120°F.  Do not over heat. Excessive heating will dry the meat's natural juices.
 
Tip: This ham is uniformly spiral sliced to, and around, the bone for your serving convenience. To separate from the bone, use a tip of a knife to make a lengthwise cut between the slices and bone.

Big disappointment

 

I have enjoyed the honey glazed boneless spiral hams a lot, and since I like black pepper, tried this ham. Big, meaty, but so salty it proved inedible - actually threw the ham out after two days because it was even too salty to use in soups or casseroles.
