I had this bacon out in Scottsdale AZ where they slow roasted and maple glazed the bacon, fantastic! Meaty, tender, flavorful. We asked the waiter what bacon was this and he said Nueskes. Well a bunch of us wound up ordering. While the bacon is tasty, the meat to fat ratio is awful. All my pieces were more than 50% fat, awful. I cooked it up for 2 parties I had and people were cutting and leaving the fat. I spoke to a few people and while the taste was good, the fat was overwhelming. For what I'm paying, I could just as easily go to my local butcher and get their bacon which I can see before I buy and I know is high quality. I have pictures that I would be happy to send. Probably will not buy the bacon again, perhaps some other product. Too bad, very sad waste of money..

I was leary about purchasing slab bacon because I'm fairly lazy but man is it worth it! I can cut each slice just the way I want it which is always nice & thick. The flavor that you get from this bacon can't possibly be duplicated by anyone other than Nueske's. Bravo for creating this bacon fan's PERFECT bacon!

I gave this bacon 5 stars because I couldn't give it 20. I've been slowly converting people to Nueske's with breakfast parties where Nueske's bacon is the #1 attraction. Cooked three 1.5 lb slabs that were literally gone in less than 5 minutes serving only 16 people!

Some slabs don't have the correct meat to fat ratio.

The chunks of bacon are very flavorful,good for dicing and cubing but it is an akward shape and hard to slice like regular bacon. Next time I will spend the extra for nice slices.

This is hands down the best bacon ever. I have paid more for gourmet bacon and it wasn't nearly as tasty. And yes we fight for the last morsels!! Try BLT's with this, its heavenly in a sandwich.
