Description

We start with plump turkeys bred especially for their abundant white meat. Then, we smoke them for 24 hours over glowing embers of sweet Wisconsin Applewood. 

The result is a moist, tender taste delight you can enjoy as the highlight of your special dinner or buffet table. Juicy and flavorful, fully cooked and ready to gently warm for dinner or serve at room temperature for your buffet. Either way, you'll delight anyone who has the opportunity to savor the delicious flavor of this smoked turkey treat. A tasteful gift, too. Not a water-added product. 

 

Store & Prepare

To Store: Refrigerate immediately. Unopened package will keep for 11 weeks in your refrigerator or up to 1 year in freezer with no loss of flavor: Once opened, enjoy within 1 week.

To Serve:
Smoked poultry is cured, smoked, fully cooked and ready to serve, hot or cold.  Remove any netting before heating or slicing.  Meat will appear pink (due to smoking). 

Oven Warming:
  If you prefer to gently warm pre-heat oven to 325 °F. Place poultry in roasting pan, add 1/4 cup water, cover tightly with foil and place on oven rack.  warm approximately 15 minutes per pound, or to internal temp of  120°F.  Do not overheat.

not very good

 

The turkey was very salty. The drumsticks and thighs looked and tasted like ham and not turkey. The breast was moist, but just ok. I think too much brine or salt was used in the processing. If someone has hypertension, this could really affect them. I will not buy this item again.

WOW, it was delicious

 

I ordered one for Thanksgiving having high hopes from the positive reviews. Served cold as recommended. It was fantastic. Turkey breast meat usually goes to leftovers because it is dry, but this breast meat was moist and delicious. It was a big hit and went first. The dark meat was terrific too - so smoky and rich that it tasted like ham. This smoked turkey will be a Thanksgiving tradition at our house.
