Applewood Smoked Wieners
We got so used to typing winner, we thought we spelled wiener wrong. But these are definitely winners. And wieners.
And a winner you’ll be when you grill these up at your next tailgate or party. Made from quality pork and beef that’s been smoked over Applewood and then delicately seasoned with a secret Nueske's recipe and finished in a tender natural casing. Nueske’s wieners are unlike anything you’ve ever tasted.
Approximately 9 links per pound.
To Store: Refrigerate immediately.
To Serve: Fully cooked, ready to warm and serve.
Grill: Place links on grill 7-9 inches above heat source. Use LOW heat to avoid split casings. Heat 10-12 minutes, turning frequently with tongs.
Skillet: Add ¼ cup water to the bottom of the skillet and add the sausages to the pan. Cover and simmer over LOW heat for approximately 10-12 minutes, turning often with tongs.
