All of the bacon was startlingly exceptional but my favorite was a hunk of curved solid, apple wood smoked bacon that I had to slice with my butcher grandfather's 28 inch long wooden handled ham and bacon knife. It reminded me of Newsom's bacon in Princeton Kentucky (were I am "Frequent Fryer #1) and that means it was a home run. It was given as a gift to me. The biscuits were not to my liking. But they were not solid bacon like the bacon, so it was no contest. Superlative, perfect bacon. Kentucky bacon is hickory wood smoked. It is a completely different flavor. The change of pace was great. Bravo, Nueske's!
