Two men & a Brisket

The rest of the family was away for the night, so Dad & I decided to cook 1.5 lbs of beef brisket for dinner. Slow heating the sealed pouch in water was easy and fast. The meat was tender and had great flavor. Once we sampled the brisket, we decided to forgo the planned baked beans and corn, eating just the meat and dessert. This was every bit as good as any brisket we have had. The 30 minute cook time makes it so much easier to have it on short notice. Our dinner was so much better than the leftover tofu stir-fry we faced as option 2. Thank you, Nueske's

Nueske's is great. This ain't Nueske's

I see that this is called "Hickory Smoked" but there is no smoked flavor whatsoever. I actually found a burnt end in the pack, which normally I love. This had no smoke flavor. It had a burned chemical flavor. The meat is mushy due to being overworked, presumably by machines and no smoke flavor. This is not a Nueske's product and it is really obvious. Really disappointing, too bad Nueske's didn't do this themselves.

Moist and delicious!

Absolutely delicious! We were looking forward to this and I was looking forward to less cooking. Heated it up according to the package and added our own favorite BBQ sauce, bun, pork and coleslaw and we had a feast!!!!! Moist and packed full of flavor, I can’t wait until we thaw the second package!
