Ingredients

  • 10-12 Slices Nueske's Applewood Smoked Bacon
  • 1 Head Iceberg lettuce, rinsed and split
  • 1 Cup Blue cheese dressing
  • 1 Cup Cherry tomatoes, rinsed and halved
  • 1/2 Cup Crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 Tbsp Chopped chives
  • Fresh ground black pepper to taste

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Arrange bacon slices on a foil lined baking sheet fitted with a wire rack. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until crisp. Transfer to paper towels to drain.
  2. Arrange lettuce wedges on four salad plates. Spoon an even amount of dressing over each wedge. Top with tomato halves, blue cheese crumbles, bacon pieces, chives, and fresh ground pepper.
  3. Serve immediately.
