Ingredients
- 12 oz Nueske's Applewood Smoked Bacon
- 1 lb Fresh Brussels Sprouts
- 1 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 2 Tbsp Chives
- 1 Tbsp White Sesame Seeds
- Korean BBQ Sauce
Method
- Cook bacon and remove from pan. Combine vegetable oil in pot with rendered bacon fat.
- Use oil and bacon fat mixture to flash fry Brussels sprouts until crispy and outer layers start to fan out. The sprouts are not drained afterward—they remain coated in the flavorful fat for tasting.
- Chop bacon into bits. Toss sprouts in Korean BBQ sauce of your choice and chopped bacon bits.
- Garnish with chives and white sesame seeds.
