Kielbasa Chowder

Ingredients

  • 4 C. chicken broth
  • 4 C. potatoes, cubed 1/2 in.
  • 3 C. Nueske's Kielbasa, sliced thinly (3/4 lb.)
  • 1/2 C. onion, diced
  • 1 C. carrots, diced
  • 1 C. celery, diced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 C. heavy cream
  • 2 C. Swiss or Gruyere cheese, shredded

Directions

In large saucepan, cook the potatoes, kielbasa, onion, carrots, celery, salt and pepper in chicken broth for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to low and add cream and cheese. Heat until cheese is just melted. Serve hot.
