Cook the gnocchi according to package directions. Drain completely, but do not rinse. Chop 2 leaves of the sage and add to the gnocchi. In separate pan, combine the kielbasa, cheese, cream, garlic, sugar, salt and pepper. Heat gently while stirring constantly until cheese is melted. Fold into gnocchi mixture until gnocchi is well coated. Sprinkle crumbled bacon over the top and decorate with remaining sage leaves, either whole or cut into strips.
