Arrange slices of Gruyere, mettwurst strips and basil over 2 of the tortillas. Season with pepper, if desired. Place the remaining tortillas on the top. Heat oil in fry pan over medium heat. Place one prepared tortilla in the fry pan at a time heating until golden brown. Turn over with large metal spatula. Heat until golden brown on both sides. Repeat with second set of tortillas. Cut into wedges and serve immediately.
