Smoked Turkey Meatballs with Ginger Lime Sauce

  • Meatball:
  • 2 C. Nueske's Smoked Turkey , ground or shredded
  • 1 lb. uncooked fresh ground turkey
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 can water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped
  • Ginger Lime Sauce:
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh grated ginger
  • 1/4 C fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1/4 C. reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 2 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar


Mix ingredients together and shape into walnut sized balls. Place meatballs in a single layer on a baking pan. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, make sauce. Mix together until sugar is dissolved. Pour over meatballs and continue to bake an additional 20 minutes.
