We got this ham for Christmas when all the family came over. We got a big one, but with everyone loving it so, it got eaten up--except for the bone and I made split pea soup with that and the little bits of ham that were in the soup made is perfect.

I got this ham for Christmas Dinner in Cannon Beach, OR. Not only do my brothers order this, but now their friends. It makes the best leftover ham and cheese Sandwiches, the best split pea soup EVER. You’ll like like a genius cook. The secret is the real (as in real real) deep natural smoke. One note of caution: Don’t put the ham in the freezer: It dries it out and lessens the smoke. It’s still great, just not as good.

This was the first time we had ever purchased this ham; and it wound up being the best ham we have ever put in our mouths! This ham will be on our table for more occasions throughout the year than just Christmas dinner. The flavor is out of this world! Thanks Nueske's for such a great tasting ham, we would highly recommend this product.

Served this ham at a recent gathering. One family member (who has disliked ham for most of her life) went back for three servings of this ham. Now a true Nueske's fan.

Shipping is very expensive but it's the BEST ham one can buy anywhere!

The ham arrived packed well and on time. And the flavor of the ham was great. The only issue I had was carving the ham. Most premium hams have a smaller bone off to the side so large slices of ham can be carved. This ham had a large bone running down the middle. This made carving difficult and only small pieces of ham were removable from the ham bone. Maybe it was a big boned pig.

The spiral sliced bone in ham is OUTSTANDING.

I was told I would be getting this as a gift. I thought "oh boy, that is nice, but a ham is a ham is a ham." And that I've had pretty good ham before, and well to get to the point, this Ham was off-the-charts! The smell, smokey, texture, moisture, so fresh. I will never look at ham the same again. Game (rather swine) changer !
